Some fun and exciting things have been happening around here and I, Catharine, have been bursting at the seams to be able to share them with you! I couldn’t think of a better way than through our first ever blog post! So many exclamation points happening!!! Can you tell I’m excited?! So lets get started!
You’ve probably already noticed from our FaceBook posts, but, I have officially become an IBCLC and joined forces with Susan, my mother, to form Cherish Lactation Care! We are so excited to be able to play off each other’s strengths to best serve breastfeeding families in-and-around Denton County. We hope to make a name for ourselves for providing superior service and evidence-based care for the lovely families who invite us into their breastfeeding journeys. We can’t wait to walk this road with you all, and I can’t convey how humbled we have been by the love and support we’ve encountered along the way so far. I’m convinced that we have the best clients on the planet.
We also have a new, fancy, shmancy (Is that a real word? Let’s just roll with it..) website built by the lovely Darby of Darby Kate Photographer. We were thrilled to be able to partner with a nursing/working mother AND fellow Denton small business owner! It was a no-brainer for us to team up with Darby on this task, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We wanted our website to be easy to navigate and to convey a clear picture of the services we provide. We welcome your feedback, though! Click through and visit all the pages. My goal is to roll out a new blog post every month, or so. Set the expectations low so we can only go up from there, right?! I hope to touch on topics that are affecting breastfeeding mothers and families today. We have lots of ideas, but if you’d like to see a certain topic, please tell us about it! Again, our goal is to be a resource on all things breastfeeding for the families in our community, so we want to hear from you most of all.
